A lot of people will want to shoot me over this, but I find it difficult to excessively dislike David Collier. He is a vindictive fanatic without even the remotest trace of a scruple, but he doesn’t make my flesh crawl in the same way as, say, Jonathan Hoffman , Adam Wagner or Simon Myerson. In my more whimsical moments I find myself thinking that there are just two kinds of people in the world. Those that you could spend four hours in a pre or post corvid pub with and those that you couldn’t. David would be quite fun. OK make that three and a half hours.
However, as he gets inexorably more demented with each passing day, it is probably time for a review.
David has an extremly high opinion of himself and is a bit of a Walter Mitty. He describes himself fancifully as ” an undercover, investigative journalist. ” When he is not calling himself that he is calling himself a ” business man”. His latest fantasy is that he is going to change Irish culture. Yes, really.
The reality is that he is a blogger that doubles up as the spiritual leader of a bunch of loonie tunes that can reasonably be described as the lunatic fringe of the lunatic fringe of what is called ” the Jewish community.” This fringe is entirely composed of fraudsters, perjurers, women harrassers, homophobic ranters, struck off solicitors and other miscellaneous criminal minds, one of which the Court of Appeal has declared to be ” a danger to the public”.It also is closely associated with Jewish terrorists and the UK far right including Britain First which spawned the murderer of the MP Jo Cox.
We will take a closer look at these characters below.
Strangely David describes himself as a ” moderate Zionist Jew with a love of Britain, the US and Israel ” ( not necessarily in that order ) and a fearless fighter of ” extremism“. He contrasts himself with non Zionist Jews who are ” fringe” while he is ” mainstream.”
Well I don’t think that ” extremist ” is a pejorative. The notion that the whole of virtue is located on, or towards the centre of a continuum, is absurd. However, David does not share this opinion. He thinks that declaring someone to be an extremist settles all arguments. The problem here is that David is about as extreme as it gets in the context that we are concerned with. He is way too extreme for the mainstream Jewish organisations that he regularly denounces.
He is consumed by a number of visceral hatreds. Prominent among them are the Irish, Scots, Pakistanis, Amnesty International, and the World Health Organisation which he wants dismantled. But the biggest bogreymen are non Zionist Jews.
Given his attitude to Muslims it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that he is a hard core racist. He has a particular hang up with Naomi Wimborne Idrissi. Not because she is Muslim. She isn’t she is Jewish. David’s ire is kicked off by the fact that she is married to a Muslim. It’s worse that that. Her son was named after a chapter of the Koran. David is given to referencing this fact when it is no more relevant to the context than is what she had for breakfast on the particular morning.

It is of course, where possible, better to let people speak for themselves. So here are a few of his more moderate pronouncements. Just enough to get the drift.

David is also an active and enthusiastic member of a group called Jewish Defence Forces. He seems to regard it as fertile ground when it comes to raising funds to ” support his work”. He goes in regularly begging money.
JDF is administered by Mordechai Kedar, famous for his ” eight state solution “. This solution to the Israel/ Palestinian issue essentially involves the corralling Palestians into eight Bantustans, or urban ghettos where they would enjoy a degree of autonomy. The rest of the territories will be absorbed into Israel and flooded with Jewish settlers largely from the US and Russia. Mordechai is of the view that the only way to deal with Palestinian ” terrorists” is to rape their wives and sisters.
I have decided that here I will play by David’s rules to avoid accusations of double standards. David and his merry men are forever attacking people on the basis of, in David’s words, ” who they hang out with“, or as Jonathan Hoffman puts it who ” they are in close proximaty to”.
So we will go with that.
The band can be very roughly divided into two sections, in a generational sense. This isn’t a divide on age grounds but according to ” era”. On the one hand there are those who first came to our notice in the Ahava days. On the other hand there are the more recent arrivists. The first group include Jonathan Hoffman, Harvey Garfield, Richard Millett and Sharon Klaff. David happily straddles both groups
JONATHAN HOFFMAN
Where to start with Hoffman? It is very difficult to talk about him succintly but I will do my best.
Hoffman is David’s closest confidant, you might say they are joined at the hip. He is a clown that has been thrown out of more places than you have had hot dinners, including the Albert Hall, parliament and the defence division of rhe Board of Deputies. He is heavily engaged in the putting together of David’s blogs, a co author you might say.
He is a clear and present danger to women. And has the criminal conviction for harrassing and threatening Sandra Wafta to prove it.
He used to be a double act with Richard Millet. Scoffie would disrupt a meeting and Millet would film the inevitable reaction of the other participants.
Scoffie has a long history of association and collaboration with the Muslim hating, baiting, far right, including the EDL and more latterly Britain First. He led the ZF into an alliance with the EDL and for some time was literally owned by Roberta Moore.
Roberta is a protege of Victor Vancier AKA Chaim Ben Pesach. Vancier was appointed by Meir Kahane to the position of chairman of the Jewish Defence League . He served two prison sentences for Terrorist offences that included no less than eighteen bombings and the attempted murder of congressman Darrell Issa. Upon his release the JDL felt it wise to distance itself from Vancier and he became persona non grata. So Vancier set up the the Jewish Task Force. The EDL came to a simiar conclusion in respect of Roberta. Roberta had founded the EDL Jewish Division and proposed to link it with Vanciers JTF. This was too much for the EDL and Roberta and her Jewish Division were cast adrift.
The problem was that Roberta was a dangerous 24/7 nut job and the EDL guys had lives. Families etc. Further they had just escaped by the skin of their teeth from proveable implication in the Breivik business.
Hoffman was so closely integrated into the Jewish Division that they had him make three appearances in their promotional video.
In addition to all this he is a demented homophobic ranter, clearly having problems with gays as well as women
The EDL now being a busted fllush,Ahava refugees, along with David Collier, took to demonstrating alongside Paul Besser of Britain First which spawned the murderer of Jo Cox.
David Collier and the aformentioned Ahava refugees are very much a team.
SHARON KLAFF
Sharon Klaff is one of the more bizarre of the Ahava refugees. She has very emphatic views including the opinion that Jordan is Palestine. She is non commital on the question of what is to be the status of Arabs in the West Bank. It is likey that she envisages their transportation to the other side of the river.
In contrast she did not share the refugees reticence on the subject of their alliance with the EDL. She is right bang up front with it
Hey Richard ( Millett)– great piece! Nice to see the view from Wagamamas as it is evident that the suport was miniscule!! Bravo to the youngsters who came out for Israel – no violence on their tongues and no hatred in their eyes; and thanks to the EDL who supported us from across the road, respecting the fact that many amongst the Jewish community did not want them to mingle with us, unlike the hate filled mob sporting Hizbollah flags emblazoned with a rifle, supported by those frock-coated filthy bearded Yiddish speakers. David and Sharon are cosy cosy. She along with a fellow nut job, Ambrosine Shitrit, put together an organisation that they called Campaign4Truth. ( I kid you not ) . C4T staged a mini conference on the subject of ” the two state solution”. At the table with him was the Muslim hating, baiting Mad Mel Phillips and a certain Brian Thomas. Thomas is a racist so explicit that mainstream Israelists won’t be seen within a mile of him. David is chilled about it, as you would expect from someone so fond of fellowship with the likes of Jonathan Hoffman, Harvey Garfield, Sharon Klaff and Richard Millett.
Brian Thomas is unabashed about his hard right propensities. He goes way beyond eulogising the EDL. He is in the habit of inviting ” Tommy Robinson” to Israel and acting as his tour guide.
David’s contribution was fully consistent with those of the other participants. Essentially Palestinians don’t exist. The refugees are a theoretical construct and the theory is false.
David’s participation in events with this kind of flavour is pretty regular. Here he is delivering a key note address at a meeting of the neo fascist HerutUK. Among others at this meeting was the screwball ” lawyer” Mark Lewis.

Fiona is a real charmer.David is of the view that ” Fiona is great.“
When it was realised by the Hasbarafia ” high ups ” that it was better to have the likes of SFI inside the tent rather than outside it, and that, carefully managed, they could be quite handy as useful idiots , they also realised that, in Simon Cobbs they had a huge presentational problem. His energy was indispensible but he was, and remains, a public relations disaster.
Hitherto, Simon, as SFI founder, had been the one that was quoted. As well as being commander in the field, he was the spokesperson, and one much favoured by the Jewish Chronicle. Indeed Simon and Sandy Rashty were very much an item, and were an entertaining double act that we were sorry to see go, now that Sandy has gone up in the world. The way that they lined up the pins for each other on twitter was hilarious.
The suits knew better, and when Simon had his twitter account pulled for threatening Hannah Weisfeld,something had to be, and was, done. ( another clear and present danger to women, consistent with his view that girls are not proper people) Unfortunately, SFI being a very small and meagre gaggle, the options were few. Fiona was the best in the way of an ” acceptable face” they could come up with. Fiona is easier on the eye than Simon but not easier on the ear, as those that stood outside Ecostream can testify. As can the judge that threw out the charges in the recent court case, on the grounds of Fiona’s false testimony, and that heard her calling the alleged aggressor a “ fascist PIG”.
However, she is being carefully minded and is certainly an improvement in print and typescript. Unfortunately, when it comes to principle and veracity, she is scarcely any improvement at all.
Rather Fiona is an habitual liar, as a perusal of her comments re Southampton University conclusively demonstrates. She is very fortunate not to have been prosecuted for perjury in respect of her false testimony before a Brighton judge, referred to above.
The whole business originated in a demo and counter demo outside Ecostream in Brighton. Following the demo Fiona and Sandra Gross went to Sussex Police, and made complaints of racially aggravated harassment against one of the anti Ecostream demonstrators. Sandra Gross is disabled and confined to a wheelchair. This is presumably why she was selected for the role, the sympathy card and all that.
Be clear, the scam, as the SFI FB page makes clear, was a conspiracy on the part of the whole of the, admittedly small, SFI collective.
As a result of this complaint, it was decided, by the Directer of Public Prosecutions, no less ( !!!!), that there should be a prosecution. This despite there being no evidence except the shaky word of these two women. ( or so it was thought at the time.)
The two women made written statements to the police alleging that……
The defendent had called them ‘nazis’, in a personally threatening and abusive way that caused them deep alarm and distress ‘as jewish women’. They alleged that he had come over to where they were positioned, called them both ‘fucking nazis’ and shook his finger at them In a menacing way.
They repeated these statements to their lawyers and to the court, both verbally and in writing.
Unfortunately, unknown to the simpletons of the SFI gaggle, the whole ” incident” had been captured by video cameras both inside and outside the store. The defence lawyers were in possession of the video material and chose not to make its existence known to the prosecution. A choice they were perfectly entitled to make .
When the defence informed the judge that there was video evidence, Sandra Gross burst into tears. She perfectly well knew what it was going to show.
What it showed was ……..
That, throughout the period of time in question, the defendant was standing several yards from the ‘victims’. At no point did he stand anywhere near them. On the video he was heard to say ‘You’re all nazis – all the zionists are nazis’.
The prosecution accepted that this video evidence captured the entirety of the incident. With the witness statements directly contradicted by video evidence, the prosecution case collapsed.
The judge therefore ruled that the defendants behaviour had not been threatening, that his words were not personally directed at the witnesses, that his words alone in this context had not caused alarm or distress, and that the video footage showed that no one else at the demo had taken any notice of what he said – let alone been distressed. Therefore: ‘No case to answer.”
The interest here is that this scam was part of a general strategy of attempting to frame pro Palestinian demontrators, a strategy that North West Friends of Israel have adopted with particular enthusiasm
For example, they noisily demanded that an anti Kadem demonstrator be arrested for making a Nazi salute when he was perfectly clearly waving at the camera. Even the ultra compliant Greater Manchester Police were too embarrassed to run with that one..
SIMON COBBS
I have made several experimental attempts to write about Simon in a grown up. adult way, but have failed miserably. It is not possible. So this is how it is.
Simon is entertaining which is more than can be said for the rest. He is commonly regarded as the founder of SFI, and for a while was treated as their spokesperson by the mainstream Jewish orgs and the JC. They quickly changed tack on this after Simon had his twitter account shut down for threatening Hannah Weisfeld with violence, because she wouldn’t respond to his demands to endorse Isractionday. Another clear and present danger to women.Needless to say he was back with another in no time at all, and he runs this replacement and the @sussexfriends account. He uses these accounts to have conversations with himself and to retweet himself.
Here is as good an introduction to Simon as any………Proper people, not girls.
A must watch
Simon is a fraudster who served nine months of an eighteen month sentence in Her Majesty’s Slammer, Exeter, for the said frauds. Now, everyone is entitled make a mistake, take the consequences and then move on. But Simon doesn’t want to move on. He likes it where he is. Essentially, Simon has, and always will have, a criminal mind.
Early in 2014 Simon assured me that he ” didn’t do junk any more.” At the time I believed him.
A while back, Simon, ever the conman, decided it would be a good idea to be Jewish. Unfortunately, not content to be any old Jew, he decided to be an Orthodox Jew, with all the pitfalls that that entails.
He quit typing ” God ” and started to type ” G-d”. A year later he discovered pesach. Six more months down the road he had mastered a few Hebrew phrases and colloquialisms. He still, however, has difficulty in spelling ” schmuck”.
Mid way through the Ecostream business he expressed a concern about what he was going to do on a Saturday, when it was all over. Make what you will of an Orthodox Jew that can’t figure out what to do on a Saturday.
This Orthodox Jew carries on trolling on the internet right though every Shabbat, and every Jewish holiday.
Late last year Simon declared that an alleged indiscretion by Brighton BDS had ” made my Christmas”. This was on the second day of Chanukah when you would have thought that an Orthodox Jew would have been much more conscious of Chanukah than Christmas, and would have said ”made my Chanukah”.
Simon speaks of ( and presumably eats ) ” bagels”. The Goyim among you might have difficulty figuring what is wrong with that. Sorry, I am not your research assistant.
It is all rounded off by a claim to have spent several years on a Kibbutz. If you can imagine Simon slaving all day under a blazing sun in the orange groves, and spending his evenings strumming his guitar by the camp fire, under a starry starry sky, you have a better imagination than me .
Some of you may be wondering what the pre Orthodox Jewish Simon was like. Fortunately, I am able to provide a glimpse. Many of you will be puzzled by the absence of his few hard learned Hebrew coloquialisms, and shocked by the call to drunken partying on shabbat.
Simon’s grasp of what is going on in the world is extremely tenuous.
For example, when the Malaysian air liner was shot down by separatists over Ukraine, he wanted to picket the Ukrainian embassy.
Obviously the education department at Exeter slammer is not everything it is cracked up to be.
ANTHONY DENISON
Denison is a big buddy of David’s. They are in the habit of going together on all expenses paid jollies to Israel. Funded by whom exactly I do not know.
He is an illuminary of NWFOI
North West Friends of Israel are a more substantial organisation than SFI, but equally rabid, with an equally casual relationship with anything approaching truth, and with equal contempt for established civil liberties in this country.
NWFOI warmly welcome the English Defence League to their demonstrations on the grounds that “ the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
NWFOI gain their impetus from counter demonstrating outside the Manchester store, Kedem. However, the aims and objectives extend well beyond the fate of Kedem. As they cheerfully admit, the aim is get the Public Order Act “strengthened” to take the sting out of demonstrations against the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories, and to have currently peaceful and legal demonstrations, declared illegal. To this end they encourage, and campaign for, the repeal of the Human Rights Act. In this they have the support of the mainstream Jewish Organisations, particularly the Community Security Trust. Further, to this end they look to provoke and have arrested, pro Palestinian demonstrators
Again there is a fair sprinkling of criminal minds in the organisation, notably the Jewish Chronicle’s favoured spokesperson, Anthony Denison. Denison is co chair of NWFOI.
He is an ex solicitor that the High Court ruled should be struck off. He was closely involved in the ” no win, no fee” scam, and, essentialy, was held to have defrauded his own partners in the then law firm, Rowe Cohen. Denison appealed his striking off, and The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal, finding that Dennison represented ” a substantial risk to the public”. He certainly does. Not least those pro Palestinian demonstrators he and his comrades manage to get framed.
His fractured character seems to permeate into the most minor details of Dennison’s life .He is the ” manager” of Maccabbi, an under sixteen football team in Manchester. Last year his team were involved in a game they were losing 9-2 with ten minutes to go. At this point there was something of an incident. Two players got involved in a bit of a fracas, common in football games. However, there seems to have been an exchange of racist epithets. Dennison seized the opportunity to haul his team off the pitch, representing the spat between two players, one from each side, as his team being subjected to wholesale anti semitic abuse. The Manchester FA were less than impressed by Dennison’s antics. The two players and Dennison were fined and suspended
